Good news: building your Packing Heat Squads just got even easier!
New Recruit - the universal army builder app - now has official data for Packing Heat, entered by yours truly! Here's how to get started:
- Either visit newrecruit.eu on your browser and go to the Army Builder, or download the app from your mobile device's App Store.
- Go to "Games", then "Add more games", and press Packing Heat (don't worry if you can't find it on the list, there's a search bar!).
- Packing Heat's data will be added to your browser/app (or your account, if you're logged in). Just press Packing Heat then "Create List" to start building your Squad!
New Recruit is FREE to download and use, though you can support them for bonus features, if you'd like to do so. It'll automatically calculate the cost of your Squad and its members, summarise their stats and rules, and make sure you stay within your Squad's limits.
If your Squad's not using any Command models, you can even make one of your normal Squad members into their Leader by selecting the "Squad Leader" upgrade. In other words, all the freedom you have with the Packing Heat rulebook has been ported over!
The Packing Heat module includes Stats, Gear, and Trait summaries for all 5 settings and all 25 Factions, including the Expansions and the FAQ and Errata. When new Factions are added or updated, the New Recruit data will also be updated shortly after. Of course, you'll still need the Packing Heat books for context and to, y'know, use the Squads you build, but this just made building those Squads a whole lot easier!
